Isn't it funny that in our search for the beauty we overlook the beaty so close to us?

Thunderstorm...

more Lake Harmony photos

The moon shining through a a circle of branches through the trees. It seems to glow, doesn't it?

FDR's House- Rhineback, NY

This picture (above) is taken near the Rose Garden where FDR's grave is.
This breathtaking view (once again, above) is taken from one of the balconies of FDR's home.

The scenery here is absolutely gorgeous. It's very quiet, though your first assumption would be it's very touristy. But it's an excellent place to reflect or ponder.

The dates on these pictures are wrong! My guess is they were taken some time in March of 2008. They were taken in our local park.

Beautiful Lake Harmony, PA

Bolder Field at Hickory Run State Park

This was also formed from glaciers. The rocks go 10-12 feet deep and there is streams underneath them. Pretty neat sight. And by the way it goes way further than you can see in this photo. You need to go there to truly appreciate it.

The Split Rock

This is a large stone formation that has a huge split down the middle as you can see from the photos. It was caused by glaciers.
